Players accuse GCU women's soccer coach of verbal, mental, physical abuse

He did not step down because of the false claims (it was later found out the “accusers” wanted $$ from GCU because they lost their scholarships because of academic and school violations which azcentral did not feel the need to update. I guess clearing a coach’s name makes for a boring read). He is a good person and a good youth coach. The 03 players are fortunate to have him. He as years of experience coaching and connections. He is definitely a positive hire for RSL.

    please say you're not using the term "fake news" without being ironic... The story said the Players Accuse, it didn't say the Coach "did". And it made the point that the overwhelming majority of the campus supported him. You can't just call anything you object to fake news. That's kind of Orwellian.

    Aren't unsubstantiated accusations fake? Isn't failure to disclose this to the public who read your news fake? So, doesn't fake news apply?
