Never heard of City SC but they list San Diego Galaxy as their DA program for Boys and Girls. This is an odd partnership.

  2. LA Galaxy San Diego will now be City SC...moving forward

How does RSL/Utah Royals sponsor two DA teams? One in Arizona and one in San Diego?

The trend seems to be improving with regards to players wanting to be professional which is good to see. We are still well behind other countries in this respect, but there appears to be a movement in the right direction. Right now most of the emphasis is on playing for colleges and univeristies. For those that want to be professional the avenues are narrow, but they are getting better. It helps to have teams like Phoenix Rising and FC Arizona in our backyard as well.

LA Galaxy rescinded or withdrew from all their affiliate programs I believe, and this used to be LA Galaxy San Diego. So they are just affiliated with RSL/Royals out of Utah.

I would think the MLS / NWSL teams are encouraged by US Soccer to have as broad a funnel as possible.

Ref on their site to LAGSD still, girls: https://ourcitysc.com/girls-program/ & boys: https://ourcitysc.com/boys-program/.
