So for DA sessions I don't believe you need to have a release or a waiver to go to one of the various ID sessions they run all year. Do you need one for ECNL? Have gotten Emails about ECNL ID sessions but not sure if I need to get a release/waiver from our club to attend. Anyone know if AYSA paperwork is required to go to ECNL ID session?

ECNL ID sessions are after May 1st so anyone can attend except if you are a DA player.

So it is just like a regular Club tryout then? Nothing Special?

ECNL tryouts were finished in early May. However, you can be invited to sessions throughout the year as a discovery player.

a Dad from Arsenal sent out a flyer for an ECNL ID session. Didn't go but was curious if the rules were the same for ECNL or DA.

Flyer said April 1 so not sure if it was a joke but clearly not in the window for tryouts. Ages were 2007s to 2001s

ECNL is outside of AYSA rules. They did run their ECNL ID session and kids did go.

So you don't have to sign releases or get waivers to go then... Interesting. Heard Arsenal 07 age group had about 70 girls and nearly 100 boys this year, sure it is due to ECNL interest.
